
As the Recruitment and Operations Associate, you will be a crucial part of the operations team, splitting your time between recruitment and people operations (two thirds) and programme operations (one third).
Responsibilities of the role include:
Recruitment and People Operations
- Administration of our seasonal staff recruitment from end-to-end, including attraction, assessment, onboarding and compliance
- Co-ordinate attraction for all junior seasonal and consultancy staff
- Conduct the bulk of our junior seasonal staff shortlisting, including reviewing applications and conducting interviews
- Co-ordinate our seasonal staff assessment centres
- Administrate the compliance of our seasonal and consultancy staff, including DBS checks, reference checks and administration of our Single Central Records in line with current legislation
- Draft rotas for our seasonal staff team including tracking leave requirements
- Co-ordinate the administration of seasonal staff payroll
- Co-ordination and completion tracking of training for full time and seasonal staff
- Maintain system management and maintenance for our recruitment portal (Eploy), our job board accounts, TES and iHASCO training platforms, our rotaing platform (Deputy), DBS platform (CareCheck) and SCR platform
- Support on administration and review of HR policies, Employee Handbook, contracts and letters of engagement for seasonal and full time staff
- Support the day-to-day HR operations across the business
- With the wider People Operations team, stay up to date with latest employment law updates and best practice in line with legislation
Programme Operations
- Manage venues for a selection of InvestIN’s Summer Experience programmes, including maintaining existing relationships and sourcing and negotiating new venues
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including transport providers and third-party suppliers
- Support the delivery of our Summer Experiences and weekend Insight Days
- Plan programme budgets, including negotiating costs with a commercial mindset, and reviewing and processing invoices
- Co-ordinate with the programme team to manage operations before, during, and after events
- Support the team with tracking inventory for centralised resources and managing our storage unit
- Ad hoc proactive and reactive problem solving
Additional responsibilities
- Ad hoc support of sales team, including support on central inboxes
- Ad hoc support of schools delivery
- Other responsibilities as required to support business needs
The Details:
Contract type: Permanent full-time
Working schedule: 9am – 5pm (Option for flexi-hours) Monday – Friday. Some weekend work will be required, but you will know dates for this well in advance, and be given time off in lieu during the weekdays. This is typically 1-2 weekends in November, 1-2 weekends in March/April, and up to 5 weekends in July/August.
Working Location: Our office is based in Victoria. Hybrid working - 2 days in the office per week, with the exception of event days, where you will be expected to be on-site up to 5 days a week (this includes during our peak period through mid-June to the end of August).
Salary: £28,000 - £29,500
Start date: Autumn 2026
